Clara | Atlanta Toddler Photographer

I have just loved seeing Clara grow! Just this week, as I sorted some files on my computer, I came across her newborn portrait session and enjoyed seeing the comparison between wee tiny Clara then and darling toddler Clara now. Her parents make every session a joy for me. The warmth and laughter in this family is so uplifting. And Clara’s sweet spirit just makes me smile.

Julie, Chad, and Clara, thank you! You are such a blessing.

Much love,
Shannon

Cameron | Atlanta Family Photographer

Any photographer will tell you that there are some children we meet who keep us smiling long after the session ends. Cameron was one of those kids for me. First of all, he is my favorite age – about a year and a half. Like most toddlers in that stage, he is so full of personality. He had so many adorable expressions, and he giggled right on cue with my peekaboo games. He was also fascinated … and I mean, REALLY fascinated with my camera. His parents tell he has a love of all things electronic. It will be interesting to see where life leads this little one … a future career at Apple or Microsoft perhaps?

Johanna and Robert, thank you so much for the chance to be your photographer and to meet your amazing son! I’m even smiling now as I think back on our session. It was truly a pleasure.

Much love,
Shannon

My dog loving blog readers … doesn’t this just melt your heart? I love the bond between a dog and his human, especially the tiny ones.

Sophia | Atlanta Child Photography

Meet Sophia. What a sweetheart! She is 14 months old, and absolutely precious. She was just the slightest bit shy when we first met, but her sparkling personality came through quickly. Her parents and I have been waiting for the weather to cooperate for her session, and finally we had a beautiful and not-freezing day to meet. This whole family was so warm and welcoming to me. I love it when I meet brand new clients who instantly feel like good friends.

Sophia loved to sing Patty Cake, Patty Cake, Bakers Man. I had to giggle seeing her adorable smile light up when we sang with her. Shane and Jessica, it was such a treat to meet you at last. Thank you for the chance to photograph your darling girl! It was such a pleasure. I hope you enjoy your sneak peek!

Much love,
Shannon

Lena | Atlanta Child Photographer

Lena has a contagious smile, don’t you think? She is such a lovely, sweet girl. The morning of our session was so cold, and we even had a layer of fog hovering over us, but she was a trooper. We wrapped her up in between poses to keep her warm. I just loved how she stuck out her little tongue when she smiled. And those big blue eyes! Precious!!

Lena was just over a year old when we met for her portrait session, and she was loving this new walking thing she had discovered. I just love this phase in a baby’s life. They are embarking on so many new discoveries with each step!
