Three Brothers | Dunwoody Children’s Photographer

I have been blessed to work with the K family for years, photographing each of their precious boys for his 1st Birthday. They are vibrant, energetic, and fun kids all around. This year, it was Joseph’s turn. Like his big brothers, he is bright and curious. It was so fun to see how Corban and David have grown, and to see their interaction together as brothers. As you can imagine, this is one very busy household! I was also very excited to meet their Daddy at last. I have loved working with their Mommy over the years, and I’ve looked forward to meeting the “rest” of the family.

Thank you, K Family, for choosing me as your photographer. I always enjoy our sessions together!

Much love,
Shannon

Henry & Rheya | Atlanta Twins Photography

I love working with twins. I just have so much fun seeing their unique spirits in the midst of their shared babyhood. Henry and Rheya were both darling and so animated for our session. Rheya was all smiles in the first half of our session, and quite the little mover! She kept me on my toes. Henry was a tad more reserved at first. Once he got to know me a little bit, he flashed that gorgeous grin and gave up a giggle or two at my antics.

Our session happened on one of our recent scorching days. Raise your hand if you are ready for cooler weather! Thank you to this fun family for bearing the heat and for the opportunity to photograph your adorable kiddos!

Much love,
Shannon

George & Stella | Marietta Children’s Photographer

George is one of my current Milestones Babies. This was our second session together and he’s grown so much! He is such a sweet little baby, full of personality and curiosity. George’s mommy and I worked hard to pull some smiles out of the little guy. He was very busy investigating the world around him. Lucky for me, he found the view out the window fascinating, which gave me the chance to capture some images in that magical, soft light. For this session, I also had the pleasure of turning my camera toward Big Sister, Stella, who is a very gentle and lovely young lady. I love spending time with this family. They all have such a loving spirit and strong faith. I always go home feeling inspired and renewed. I can’t wait to see them again in the Fall for George’s first birthday!

Much love,
Shannon

And now back to our regularly scheduled programming …

Hello out there! I can’t believe August is not only here, but almost over. I have thoroughly enjoyed the last few weeks of summer with my family and I’m so excited about the Holiday Portrait Season kicking into gear. I’ve been back at work shooting for the last few weeks as well, so I have some sessions I am anxious to share on the blog! On the topic of Holiday Portraits, now is the time to plan your child’s and family’s sessions! I only have a couple of spots left in September, and a handful for October. My weekend session spots are currently full until November. It’s going to be a busy, fun Fall! I can hardly wait!

The first beautiful boy to whom I want to introduce you is Trett. A little while back, a dear client of mine called me to buy a gift certificate for her friends. She told me some of their story, in which they welcomed their first child, a son. In the moments that most of us are reveling in the joy and anticipation of our child’s birth, they were facing some really frightening news and predictions. Trett’s first year has been a difficult journey as they coped with many health challenges and developmental delays. But from the moment I met them, their love for their child outshone all of that. Trett is one amazing little boy, and he is loved, respected, and cherished beyond measure. I am so thankful for clients like these, incredible people who remind me of what really matters in life.

Trett, it was an honor to meet you, sweet boy, and a blessing to spend time with your Mommy and Daddy, and to see the love they have for you. It is clear to see how much joy you bring to their lives.

Much love,
Shannon
