Love | Sugar Hill Family Portraits

I’ve had the opportunity to photograph this sweet family a few times over the years. One word always comes to mind each time I think of them … Love. They are a family that radiates love for each other. Their children, Kaitlyn, Zachary and darling baby Mckenna, have such a sweet spirit. Some of the wisest people in the world will tell you that the one thing that offers a child the most secure foundation of love and trust in the world is her parents’ devotion to one another. I think when it comes down to it, that is the source of this family’s glow. I just love being around them. Their warm smiles are contagious.

Tim and Sara, thank you so much for the opportunity to create these portraits of your beautiful family again this year. Thank you for your smiles and your inspiration.

Much love,
Shannon

P.S. On a scheduling note, my calendar is now full until late July. I am accepting reservations for August and beyond. It is never too soon to reserve your holiday portrait session! As always, I always try to save a little wiggle room for newborn portraits, so call or email me if there is a new baby in your life!

Brothers | Buckhead Children’s Photographer

As my readers know, I am the mother of three kids. The first two are boys. So that means I am also the mother of brothers, and young brothers have such a special place in my heart. Every time I get the chance to photograph siblings, especially two sisters or two brothers, I have a ball seeing the similarity and differences they each have. They are always two very unique spirits but the family relationship still shines through.

Alex and Christopher were busy little guys, but with a few tricks we managed to entice them to sit still for a split second … exploring nature’s treasures, exchanging some jokes about each other’s stinky feet, and a round or two of my signature rendition of Itsy Bitsy Spider. Thankfully I have awesome clients who hire me for my work as a visual artist and not for my singing talent!

Much love,
Shannon
