I first met these two dolls when they were just months old. They were so tiny and peaceful. I was elated when their mommy called me again for a portrait session this year. I knew those two beautiful babies would certainly have grown into amazing toddlers … and they have! Now they are two years old and ever so adorable. As I am sure any parent of twins will tell you, they each have their own unique spirit. Nicholas is calm and thoughtful. I can tell there is a great intellect growing inside this young man. Madelynn is spunky and playful. And though I’m sure Nicholas would argue with me on this point, I think Miss Maddie might be the one who calls the shots most of the time. Both of them are simply darling, and have such a precious bond. Life is sweet, isn’t it?

Tamera, I’m sorry to have to tell you that you’ll have too many images to choose from. I am having a very hard time narrowing them down! For now, I hope you love your sneak peek. Thank you for the chance to spend a beautiful Fall day with you, Nicholas and Madelynn. It was such a treat to work with you again, and I loved playing with Nicky and Maddie. What a blessing they are!

There are people in this world that just make the day brighter, the colors more vibrant, your heart lighter. They make smiles appear effortlessly. You spend time with them and after you are … simply … happier.

This family is made up of those kind of people. Truly some of the nicest people I have ever been blessed to meet. They have a genuine love that they share with everyone around. I’ve been working with them for a couple of years now, and every session leaves me smiling. Up until now, I have just photographed their children, darling Lillian and Nolan and this year, sweet Amelia as a newborn. For their holiday portrait session, Mom and Dad joined in for a family portrait, and I was so thrilled that they did! They are a beautiful family, inside and out.

Lillian is a sweetheart. I love her beautiful curls and the gentle but playful spirit in her eyes.

Nolan is ALL boy! He likes to run, climb, and explore. He reminds me so much of my sons, especially my middle child, at that age. Isn’t he handsome?

Amelia is full of personality! Every smile she gave me during our session had it’s own unique signature. She is pure joy. They call her Mimi, which struck a sentimental chord in my heart, as my Grandmother Mimi’s name was also Amelia.

To the H Family … thank you. Thank you for being you! Thank you for making the world a sweeter place to be.

PS … and thank you for the apple bread and the adorable drawing from Lillian. Both were such a wonderful treat!

Here they are! It’s hard to believe these two princesses are already three years old. I first met them when they were just months old, and I’ve watched them with awe as they have grown into such beautiful young ladies. They are only a month younger than my daughter, and I love them like they are my own. I especially love that they know me so well, and greet me with excited hugs whenever we get together. They are darling children, and some of the best behaved toddlers I have ever met.

Their mom and dad have become dear friends of ours over the years. Our daughter’s cherish their playtime together, and even my sons eagerly ask when we will see them again. They have a thing for cute blonds, I guess. I wouldn’t mind having these two for daughters-in-law in about 25 years.

Bryan and Tiffany, thank you as always for sharing these moments with me. I love our sessions and our social times together. Your friendship means so much to us.

Rowan : “Little red-haired one.” This family certainly chose the most perfect name for their beautiful little girl. Having a red-head myself, I have a special fondness for these unique children, who are always vibrant inside and out. Rowan was no exception.

After a few reschedules thanks to all this crazy rain and various viruses in the Atlanta area, we finally got to meet on a beautiful evening. I loved getting to know this family. Sarah works at our church, and we met by pure chance after she had already inquired about a session … it turns out, she is the one coordinating my sons’ baptism in a couple of weeks. I love it when God offers us those little unexpected connections. At the session, I met her husband Ryan, who also happens to be a photographer. He was a bit quiet about his photography work when we met, but I happened to find his website this week and WHOA! I was blown away by his talent! I look forward to seeing them again in the future, hopefully … I’d love the chance to “talk shop” a little more!

Ryan and Sarah got engaged at Roswell Mill, so it seemed the ideal spot to meet for our session, now that they are a family of three. And Rowan’s baby brother will be arriving very soon! Rowan was feeling just a bit under the weather that night, but I was happy to see that we coaxed a few smiles out of her. And who can resist the wonder and innocence of a child and bubbles?

Sarah, Ryan, and Rowan … it was truly a pleasure! Thank you for the opportunity to photograph your family.
