Beautiful Inside and Out | Atlanta Children’s Photography

Meet Savannah Jane, Abigail, and John Thomas, three of the most lovely children I have had the pleasure to photograph. We met for the first time on a recent Fall morning, and they impressed me right off the bat with their manners and behavior. They were so kind, gracious, and cooperative, all three. But what caught my attention even more as we created their portraits was their love for each other. They clearly had such a deep bond as siblings. The children’s mom, Holly, and I chatted like old friends. We all shared a lot of laughs in our time together, and it was a session that put me in a great mood to last the rest of the day. I love my job!

This beautiful family was referred to me by their aunt, whose children I also remember as being incredibly polite and so photogenic. It must run in the family. Our primary goal was to create John Thomas’ 3 Year portrait, a tradition in their family when each child reaches their third birthday. But we also took advantage of the session to capture some portraits of the children together, as well as a few of Abigail and Savannah Jane on their own.

Holly, I feel so blessed to have met you and your children, and so thankful for the opportunity to be your photographer. I hope we can work together again!

Happy Birthday, Bryce! | Marietta Baby & Family Photography

It’s hard to believe that Bryce was a bump in his mommy’s tummy when I met him! How this year has flown by! Since his first “real” portrait session as a newborn, and though each of his Milestones sessions through the year, he has grown into such an amazing and adorable little guy. All smiles and laughs, and always with a twinkle in those big brown eyes.

The very last image on this post is certainly my favorite from the session, and may be one of my favorite images this year. Little Elsie’s world has changed dramatically since the arrival of her two-legged baby brother, but I understand she has taken it all in stride. I hope they can be good friends for years to come.

Brett and Mandy, sharing Bryce’s first year with you has been a true joy. Thank you for welcoming me into your home and allowing me to share these special moments in your lives as your photographer.

Perry at 3 Months | Atlanta Baby Photographer

Get ready for some serious cuteness! Meet Perry, a sweet 3 month old baby girl I met recently. Perry is Sam and Stefanie’s first child. What a sweetheart she is! She was quite bright-eyed and alert for our session. We met on one of the first semi-dry days after Atlanta’s torrential rains in September, and though we had some cloud cover, we thankfully had some beautiful light and mild temperatures to work by. We tried our hardest to get her to take a snooze for us, so we could get some of those innocent sleeping portraits, but she would have none of it! And I admit, with those big brown eyes of hers, I didn’t mind at all that she wanted to show them off.

And just look at those cheeks! Perfectly kissable! And those eyelashes!

Welcome to the world, Megan | Alpharetta Newborn Photographer

Meet Megan! This darling baby girl joins a family with three big brothers, so you can imagine the excitement when her parents found out they had a girl on the way! We had a little trouble getting Megan’s newborn portraits scheduled, so she was just a bit older than the age of 10-14 days I usually recommend, but that’s ok! At 4 weeks old, Megan was so curious and alert, which was such a treat for me! We managed to coax her to sleep for just a few minutes, but she was reluctant to miss out on anything exciting while she snoozed. I understand, sweet girl. I wouldn’t want to miss out on the party either. :)

I just love those big blue eyes and those beautiful, soft cheeks. So sweet! (Boy, do I have baby fever lately! Thank goodness my job lets me spend time with so many tiny babies. I always pause for a quick snuggle during our sessions.) I’ll be curious to see how much pink fills up the B household now that they have a girl! With three big brothers, she might just find more interest in Transformers and Star Wars as she grows up. Nah … I think she’ll be a pretty princess through and through!
