How does a year pass so quickly? It seems like yesterday that I met Miss E and her awesome family for her first Milestones session. Now her first birthday has come and gone and she’s moving forward into toddlerhood. There are certain families that I meet in my career as a photographer who stand out as a reason why I love my job. This is one of those families. I look forward to every session, the chance to spend some time with them and their adorable daughter, because I know we’ll have a fun, lighthearted time together. I enjoy our chats as much as I enjoy photographing them! To the B Family, thank you for the blessing you have been to me this year, and thank you for the honor of capturing this special time for you in portraits. I hope to see you often in the future!
Also on the subject of “Where does the time go?” … I am ashamed that is has been 10 days since I posted to the blog!!! To say life is hectic is an understatement around here. Business has been great – pleasantly busy and steady, for which I am so thankful! And on a personal note, we are smack dab in the middle of a full kitchen renovation. We gutted our kitchen down to the studs and started over, a process which began at the beginning of April. I must say, it has gone so much better than I ever expected, thanks in no small part to our builder who has been utterly fantastic. If you are embarking on any home renovations in the future, please contact me for his info! He is amazing!! But even in the best of circumstances, being a family of 5 living without a kitchen can be such a challenge, not to mention the noise and the dust around here. But it will all be so worth it in the end. Oh, and I’m also the Room Mom for my son’s 1st grade class. How much more can I heap on my plate in one month?
