Miss O was my last newborn portrait session of 2008. Isn’t she incredible? She has such gentle, alert eyes and beautiful skin. She was twelve days old when we met, and can you believe how she is holding up her head? I was amazed by her strength for such a tiny baby. Several times as I posed her, she would hold her head straight up as if to look at me or my light. I felt the need to assure her mom that I wasn’t the one lifting her head straight up like that! She is one of the strongest newborns I have ever seen.
Sleeping was not on her list of preferred activities for the day, at least not during her photo session. She wanted to just look around the room, relax with her pacifier, and take in the world. Finally, her mom, her aunt, and I convinced her to take a short nap and that was a feat to accomplish! But just look at that peaceful, innocent slumber … it warms my heart like nothing else!
Thank you, T Family, for choosing me as your daughter’s first photographer. It is an honor! She is exquisite!
