Down on the Farm

I was told by a little bird (or chicken?) that a lot of people were waiting on this sneak peek!

I mentioned last weekend the awesome birthday party I was invited to document. Miss A and Miss C turned two! You’ve met these delightful girls on my blog before. I adore them, and I was so thrilled to be a part of their big day.

The FARMtastic birthday party took place at The Art Barn in Canton, Georgia. Farmer Sue was amazing and so fun. She had such a vibrant, yet gentle enthusiasm with the kids, young and old. And of course, the stars of the show were adorable as ever. Check out the absolutely perfect outfits their mom chose for the party! Everyone had a blast. We met and even held some furry friends, created some incredible art, went for a hayride, and of course, got a delightful sugar high from some delicious cake.

Here are just a few of the 200+ shots that I’ll be showing Mom and Dad. It’s been hard to narrow them down! To capture the special day, Mom chose my Life Moments Session which includes a gorgeous coffee table book to hold the memories. I’m already buzzing with ideas for the book!

If you ever have the opportunity to visit Morning Glory Farm and The Art Barn for a party or event, do not miss it! I can’t wait to introduce my children to the sweet animals and Farmer Sue. They’ve heard me talking about it all week, so they can’t wait either!!

Don’t you love the shoes?

In this shot, my husband and awesome assistant had just asked Miss A how old she was. She was trying to make her fingers say “Two.”

I think this is my favorite shot of the whole day!

When I captured this image, the twins’ mom was standing next to me. She said, “Ah yes, there is that signature Shannon Holden shot from behind!”

Tiffany L - These are so much fun! I love them! The girls are so, so cute and Shannon, I love how you captured that special bond that sisters share. Tiffany, I can’t wait to see the coffee table book. Thanks for inviting us to be a part of the girls’ special day. We had a blast!

Tiffany P - Yay! So many fun and sweet shots of my girls! I love the one of them by the tractor and, of course, the signature Shannon shot. And, the one of my little C hugging the sheep is just precious! Can’t wait to see the rest! Thank you so much for sharing in and capturing my baby girls’ special day, Shannon. The past two years have certainly flown by!
