At last, I got to meet this sweet little guy! He lives in Florida with his Mommy and Daddy. Mommy hoped he would be born here in Atlanta, where she has family and planned to be here in time for his birth. We had planned to meet for his newborn portraits at that time. But he had another idea, and came earlier than expected, at home in Florida. So we shifted our plans to a six month session this summer. It was a treat to meet his sweet family after all this time, and such a delight to photograph Mr. B. He had such a playful, curious spirit. He was all giggles and smiles for his young cousins, who were a huge help as my assistants during our session.
This is one session where I had a hard time choosing images to show in black and white or sepia, because I loved the bright colors of his clothes, and the warm tones in his eyes, hair, and skin. And how could I resist that awesome red couch?!
To the M family, thank you for traveling so far to meet me, and to give me the chance to be your little boy’s photographer. I would love to see you again next time you journey to Georgia, or maybe I’ll see you in Florida sometime!
