Meet the C family. Mr. and Mrs. C are both incredibly talented musicians. I’ve enjoyed their music for the last few years through their work with our church. They are even on my iPod! This year, their son and mine are in the same class at school, and have become great buddies. I hear about the daily pretend games of Pokemon every afternoon.

So, I was thrilled for the opportunity to photograph this fun family. We planned a late afternoon session, to bring the warm evening light into the images. Their son is fantastic – funny, bright, and well-mannered. An all around great kid. He must get that from Mom and Dad.

Truly, how can it be? These kids get cuter every time I see them! I could photograph them all day long. Such joy, such glorious energy, such inner light. Their mother has become a good friend over the years, and spending time with her always leaves me with a renewed sense of awareness of God’s light in people. They are an incredibly special family.

I also would like to hire her, their mother, as my official portrait stylist. I love the way she dresses these adorable boys! Big Brother R’s outfit inspired my oldest son’s clothes for our own holiday portraits. Seriously, we hit the mall that night in search of that cool jacket. I even showed my husband the shots still on the camera, and he agreed that these might be some of the cutest kids in Atlanta!
