Ta-Daaa!

The new website is live! I’m very anxious to hear what everyone thinks, so please let me know! I’m still tweaking. I’ll likely be adding more images and refining the content along the way. It’s quite probable that I won’t be able to call it “Finished” until after the holiday season.

Speaking of the holiday season, I am swamped! Yes, the season has kicked into full gear!! Thank you all for making this busy season BUSY and also a lot of fun. I’ve met so many great families in the last two weeks. October is my busiest month of the entire year for sessions. I am shooting on 17 of the next 27 days, plus taking a 4 day trip next week for a photography workshop. So please bear with me if I’m a little tough to reach. I won’t be in the office very often, but if you leave a voice mail for me, my system will page me that your message is waiting.

Enjoy the new site!

So Sweet

Can’t you just see the sweetness in those beautiful eyes? This was the second session I’ve had with this darling baby girl, who is now a year old! This family has such beautiful light in their home – always a treat, since my home is so dark!

SK has such a gentle playful nature. She had fun giggling with Mommy and Daddy as they coaxed a smile out of her. She is on the verge of full mobility. I’m sure she’ll be walking solo any day now!

Reflections

(Recreating this post, because it somehow disappeared from the blog. I’m beginning to think there is a bug in the machine.)

This has been on my heart for quite sometime. I have felt a pull to do more, be more open with my faith, because we never know how our words or actions might be a part of God’s plan for someone else. And so I have created a new blog, through which I hope to share a little bit of my journey of faith. Please feel free to stop in and read, and please feel welcome to share your own thoughts and insights. I would love for Reflections to become a dialogue over time. I’ve also added a link to the sidebar on the right.

Reflections

Also, thanks for everyone’s patience and concern when I managed to obliterate my entire blog earlier today. I owe a huge thanks to my beloved husband for spending his time during my moment … er, hours … of crisis today. Also thanks to my friends who offered to help me piece my blog back together through the things they had saved on their end, and a huge thanks to Lunarpages, my web host, for ultimately saving the day by restoring my entire website from their own server backup from Friday. I was in tears there for a while, thinking that this whole year’s worth of posts were gone forever!
