The minute I saw this image on my screen, I just felt happiness. Fresh air, warm breeze, soft sunlight, and the infectious giggles of children … Happiness.
These precious kids belong to a good friend and fellow Alpharetta photographer. Since we photographers seldom get a chance to be in front of the camera, we must remember to plan for such a time when we can actually be IN our own family portraits. So I was honored when the M family asked me to capture these images of their family together. The rain held off and the mosquitos only started their attack at the end of the session, so it all came together perfectly!
And check out the outfits … perfectly coordinated in great color … great job, M Family!!

Ashley, soon! We actually did family portraits at the beach, compliments of my dad, but I just haven’t posted any. I hope to have an official session for my own family sometime this fall for our Christmas cards.
