Ah, this weather! I love Atlanta in the Spring. I love the dogwoods and tulips, and the delicious green that awakens all around us. Glorious!
And summer is just around the corner! I wanted to take a moment to let you know that as of now, I only have one spot left for July and then August is upon us. If you are interested in a summer portrait session, please contact me as soon as possible. I know of some great spots in Alpharetta, Roswell, and the other suburbs for outdoor portraits, if we can beat that summer heat! I will start accepting August appointments soon. I’m waiting on confirmation on my kids’ school schedules for the coming year, so I will know when I’ll be wearing my Mommy hat versus my Photographer hat. If you are interested in a photography session in August or later, please email me your preference soon. I will contact you just as soon as I begin scheduling sessions.
I also must share that it has been necessary recently to raise my rates somewhat. As you know, running a business and making a living as an artist involves a lot of planning, and a lot of math!
Some of the factors include, but aren’t limited to, rising lab costs, equipment upgrade and maintenance expenses, insurance costs, ongoing education and business development investments, packaging expenses, and so much more. Please know that when I find I must raise rates, I never do so lightly, or without a great deal study and prayer. My goal will always be to offer my clients the best images I can, photography that captures your life and your spirit in a genuine, loving way that you will cherish for a lifetime.
I will honor my prior rates for all sessions currently reserved and for which a deposit has been paid, and will honor those rates for the period specified on your portrait contract. All sessions reserved from now forward, as well as all re-orders from previous sessions, will be subject to the current rates. Please feel free to contact me with any questions.
