I simply had to share this. I captured this image of my kids earlier this week while scouting for some new session locations.
My baby girl loves her biggest brother like no one else in the world. Her eyes sparkle as she returns his simplest smile. And he adores her. She is an answer to his prayers … his nightly hopes sent up to God for a baby sister. I keep looking back at this image, finding myself lost in it like a dream … oh, how I love these children, how my life is defined by them, and how thankful I am for the blessing of being their mother. It makes me think of their future as sister and brother. Will she run to him when he gets home from school? Will she seek his comfort when she skins her knee? Will she look for his advice when she has her first broken heart? Will she dance with him at her wedding?
Seeing the love between them today, I think I can answer all of those questions with a heartfelt Yes. And I believe that he will feel just as blessed to be there for her.
Some of the factors include, but aren’t limited to, rising lab costs, equipment upgrade and maintenance expenses, insurance costs, ongoing education and business development investments, packaging expenses, and so much more. Please know that when I find I must raise rates, I never do so lightly, or without a great deal study and prayer. My goal will always be to offer my clients the best images I can, photography that captures your life and your spirit in a genuine, loving way that you will cherish for a lifetime.
