Miss Madeleine

Here is one of my favorite little miracles! Madeleine is the daughter of a very dear friend of mine. Madeleine came into this world nearly 3 1/2 months before her due date. She weighed less than two pounds. In just her first few weeks of life, she proved to all of us, including her parents, doctors, and nurses that she was strong, determined, and full of spirit. There were times that we all waited agonizingly to see what even the next hour would bring, not knowing if Maddie would pull through. But pull through she did, and look at her now!

She is 14 months old and just about the cutest little thing I've ever seen. I see a lot of babies every week in my work, and they are all magical, playful, and darling in their own way. But I must say ... This beautiful little girl has the most personality I've ever seen.
