Our 3D Ultrasound

This week, we had the incredible experience of actually "seeing" our baby girl! We had a 3D ultrasound performed. This technology is just amazing. The baby didn't cooperate so well at first. She was curled up in a ball asleep, with a hand in front of her face as well as a part of the umbilical cord floating in front of her, so we really couldn't get a good look. The ultrasound tech jiggled my belly a bit (ouch) and the baby woke up a little. Then I was lucky to sneeze ... haha! ... and that woke her up! We got to see her wiggling around and moving her arms about. Did I mention it was incredible? I will be so thrilled to see how she really looks in real life when the time comes, to see how much she actually looks like these images from our "sneak peak." Those lips look so precious and she has her Mommy's nose just like her big brothers. See you soon, Baby Girl!

If any of you out there are expecting a child and would like to know where we went for these beautiful images, please email me. I'll be glad to share the details with you! This was a service performed by a private company, not a diagnostic ultrasound. We were thrilled with the whole experience. The ultrasound office was very friendly and well-run.
