Happy Fathers Day to all the dads I've been lucky to meet, and to the Fathers in my own family.

Today I'm remembering how blessed I am to share my life with my husband. He is everything I hoped my children would have in a father. He is devoted beyond measure to his family. He is never afraid to show the depth of his love. He is an example of strength, especially in that he doesn't fear his own emotions or vulnerability. He is honest and loyal. He is wise and genuine. He isn't embarrassed to be silly in public, especially if it will make his son smile. And he trusts the Lord to lead him, as a father, as a husband, and as a man in today's chaotic world.

So to my husband I say, Thank You and I Love You, for being the man you are, the husband I prayed for, and the father our children will cherish for the rest of their lives.
